MOSCOW / KIEV – Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on Wednesday that two combat drones flying toward Moscow were shot down by Russian air defense forces.

At the time of the shootdown, one was near the Domodedovo area south of Moscow, and the other near the Minsk highway, west of the capital, the mayor said.

At present, there is no information about any injuries from the falling debris and emergency services are working on the scene, the mayor wrote on social media.

Meanwhile, Ukraine has launched the testing of its new domestically-made reconnaissance drone in the combat zone, the main intelligence directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said Tuesday in a post on Telegram.

The drone, named SpyGun, has a flight endurance of 120-160 minutes and a maximum speed of 90 km per hour.

With a flying range of 50 km and an altitude limit of 1,500 meters, SpyGun is equipped with two cameras for photo and video and a system of automatic return to the take-off point

Separately, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said on Tuesday that Ukraine hopes to increase its exports through Moldova after the construction of a new bridge over the Dniester River on the joint border.

"Ukrainian exporters will have a convenient way to southeastern Europe and will increase the volume of their goods' exports," Shmyhal was quoted as saying by the government press service.

The new bridge over the Dniester River on the joint border, with its construction greenlighted by the Ukrainian government earlier in the day, will become a key element of the transport corridor between Kyiv and Chisinau
